Job Description
  • This role involves providing support to encourage our customers to maximise their own potential and independence.
  • You will assess customers' needs by writing and updating support plans, ensuring they maintain personal choice, privacy, and dignity.
  • You will be a first point of call to receive and direct all customer queries, handling occasional emergency situations while keeping accurate records.

About the Role

As a Social Care Specialist, you will work with adults who have experienced homelessness, developing relationships with customers and liaising with external support links to improve their confidence, health, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to customers who have faced homelessness, encouraging them to maximise their potential and independence.
  • Assess customers' needs, writing and updating support plans to ensure personal choice, privacy, and dignity.
  • Be a first point of contact for customer queries, handling emergencies while maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards is essential.
  • Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative, reacting quickly to changing priorities while working to deadlines and targets.
  • Strong organisational skills, functional literacy, and numeracy.

Estimated Salary: £12.50 per hour.
