Job Description

Job Title: Home School Tutor

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site visits)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £24,462.81 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

About the Role:

  • Provide high-quality education and support to students with complex needs in a home-based setting.
  • Work collaboratively with the education team to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and carers to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and assessments to monitor student progress and adjust learning plans as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in specialist education.
  • Contribute to the development of new programs and services to meet the evolving needs of students and families.

Requirements:

  • GCSE at C or 4 grade or above in mathematics and English.
  • Recent 2 years' experience of working with students with SEMH.
  • Experience of teaching English and mathematics.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of strategies for deescalating challenging situations.
