Transforming Education for Vulnerable Young People

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate SEN / SEND Tutors to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN / SEND Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational support to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD), and other Additional Educational Needs.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. As a SEN / SEND Tutor, you will work closely with our team to provide flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to young people referred to us by local authorities and schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective sessions that meet the needs of each young person
  • Provide regular feedback and progress reports to parents and carers
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless support for each young person
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
