Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and evaluate design processes at the equipment, system, and software levels, ensuring rigorous testing protocols are established for verification.
  • Act as the technical lead for projects, providing support to project managers on all technical aspects.
  • Adhere to technical specifications throughout the design, integration, and client acceptance phases.
  • Develop technical documentation, including test plans, requirements, and procedures, to facilitate project development and deliverables.
  • Guide and manage engineering teams focused on firmware, software, and hardware to ensure system designs meet operational performance criteria.
  • Review and approve technical documentation.
  • Organize and lead customer project design reviews, actively participating in discussions.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • Monitor and anticipate advancements in technology, science, and engineering to continuously improve the company's offerings.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities and formulating technical solutions and recommendations.
  • Support internal research and development initiatives aimed at enhancing engineering quality, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated success in executing complex system design, implementation, testing, and integration within the highly regulated defense sector or a similar field.
  • Comprehensive experience across the entire system lifecycle, including design, development, testing, integration, and acceptance.
  • Familiarity with modern programming languages such as C++, Java, and C#.
  • Knowledge of firmware design principles and advanced electronic systems.
  • Strong technical expertise in military-grade commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) communication and sensor systems.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop engineering personnel to ensure they meet their responsibilities and achieve targets within established timelines and quality standards.
