An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Area Sales Manager with a background in selling timber or building products.

You will join a prominent wood processing company offering excellent benefits and a competitive salary.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will drive sales through established customer bases and generate new business.

The ideal candidate will be based in the region and happy to cover the region as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Proactively manage accounts and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts and Buying Groups across the UK.
  2. Achieve or exceed annual sales targets and key milestones.
  3. Grow, lead, and manage the sales territory effectively.
  4. Maintain the sales process and CRM from a key account and customer service perspective.
  5. Exhibit strong journey planning and account management skills.
Requirements:
  1. Previously worked as a Sales Manager or in a similar role.
  2. Background in selling timber or building products.
  3. Ideally have experience selling timber products into the builders' merchant sector.
