We are seeking an experienced individual to provide administrative support to our Macmillan Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist team.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Macmillan Skin Cancer CNS team, including tracking and tracing diagnostic investigations and appointments.
- Communication: Liaise with doctors, medical secretaries, Outpatients, IT, and Management to ensure an effective and high-quality service is provided for our patients.
- Patient Support: Provide empathetic and professional support to patients, mostly via telephone, and develop conflict resolution skills when handling sensitive calls.
- Tracking and Scheduling: Track and trace diagnostic investigations and appointments for all CNS patients, prepare and validate the patient tracking list, and attend weekly meetings to optimize the patient pathway.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Book all CNS follow-ups, including NEW, follow-up, and Photodynamic therapy treatments, and ensure correct formatting within the IT system.
