About the Role
We are seeking an experienced individual to provide administrative support to our Macmillan Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist team. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to ensure an effective and high-quality service is provided for our patients.
Main Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support to the Macmillan Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist team, including tracking and tracing diagnostic investigations and appointments for patients on the Dermatology pathway.
2. Develop conflict resolution skills when handling sensitive patient enquiries and take appropriate action.
3. Attend weekly Patient Tracking List meetings to assist with optimising the patient pathway and avoiding breaches, reducing delays in patient treatment.
4. Book all CNS follow-ups, including NEW, follow-up, and Photodynamic therapy treatments, and ensure the correct format within the IT system.
