Job Title: Weekend Care Assistant

Join Home Instead as a Weekend Care Assistant and play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients. As a Weekend Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and companionship to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management as directed
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care activities

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in care is an advantage but not essential (full training provided)
  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation due to the large rural location we cover
Additional Information:
  • This role is subject to references and DBS check
  • Must live within a reasonable traveling distance of SN9 Postcode
  • Ability to work in at least one of the areas we cover: Devizes, Pewsey, Marlborough, Andover, Amesbury, Tidworth and surrounding villages
  • Regrettably we do not have a sponsorship license at this time
  • This role is UK based and the right to work in the UK will need to be established as part of the recruitment process
