About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Weekend Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aid with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, ensuring our clients maintain their independence and dignity.
  • Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management as directed, prioritizing our clients' health and well-being.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed, promoting our clients' safety and comfort.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care activities, ensuring seamless communication with our team and clients' families.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in care is an advantage, but not essential, as we provide full training to help you succeed.
  • A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation, as you will be visiting clients in rural areas.

Additional Information

  • This role is subject to references and a DBS check, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of care and safety.
  • You must live within a reasonable traveling distance of SN9 Postcode, allowing you to easily reach our clients' homes.
  • You will be required to work in at least one of the areas we cover, including Devizes, Pewsey, Marlborough, Andover, Amesbury, Tidworth, and surrounding villages.
  • We do not have a sponsorship license at this time, so you must have the right to work in the UK.
