About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced PCB Inspector to join our client for a 3-6 month contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our electronic assemblies.
Key Responsibilities- Visual Inspection: Conduct thorough visual inspections of PCBs to ensure they meet quality standards, including checking solder joints, components, and overall workmanship.
- Quality Standards: Ensure that products adhere to the IPC-A-610 standard, which defines acceptability criteria for electronic assemblies.
- Documentation: Read and interpret quality policies, procedures, drawings, and other relevant documentation to maintain consistency and compliance during inspections.
- Receiving Inspection: Inspect materials arriving in the warehouse for quality, including dimensional checks, surface finish assessment, and verifying assembly quality.
- Final Inspection: Perform a final inspection before products are shipped to ensure they meet all quality requirements.
- Knowledge and Experience: Possess a history of PCB assembly and inspection, as well as knowledge of common electronic assembly standards.
