Job Title: PCB Inspector

Job Location: Wokingham

Job Type: 3-6 month contract

Rate: £15-16 per hour PAYE - £19-21 per hour LTD/umbrella - EXEMPT FROM IR35

We are seeking an experienced PCB Inspector to join our client for a 3-6 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visual Inspection: Conduct thorough visual inspections of PCBs to ensure they meet quality standards, including checking solder joints, components, and overall workmanship.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure that products adhere to the IPC-A-610 standard, which defines acceptability criteria for electronic assemblies.
  • Documentation: Read and interpret quality policies, procedures, drawings, and other relevant documentation to maintain consistency and compliance during inspections.
  • Receiving Inspection: Inspect materials upon arrival in the warehouse, checking for quality, including dimensional checks, surface finish assessment, and verifying assembly quality.
  • Final Inspection: Perform a final inspection before products are shipped to ensure that assembled PCBs meet all quality requirements.
Requirements:
  • Must be previously certified to J and IPC standard
  • A history of PCB assembly
  • A history of PCB inspection
  • A knowledge of all common electronic assembly standards
  • Good component knowledge
  • A knowledge of AOI
