Job Title: PCB Inspector

Orion Electrotech is seeking an experienced PCB Inspector to join our team for a 3-6 month contract.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled PCB Inspector to ensure the quality of our printed circuit boards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronics quality assurance and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visual Inspection: Conduct thorough visual inspections of PCBs to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure that products adhere to the IPC-A-610 standard, which defines acceptability criteria for electronic assemblies.
  • Documentation: Read and interpret quality policies, procedures, drawings, and other relevant documentation.
  • Receiving Inspection: Inspect materials upon arrival to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Final Inspection: Perform a final inspection before products are shipped to ensure they meet all quality requirements.
  • Rework: Rework PCBAs to the highest standards, including components down to 0201.
Requirements:
  • Must be previously certified to J and IPC standard.
  • A history of PCB assembly and inspection.
  • A knowledge of all common electronic assembly standards.
  • Good component knowledge.
  • A knowledge of AOI.
