About the Role

Lightspeed is seeking a highly skilled Support Training Specialist to join our team at our Belfast office. As a key member of our Training & Quality team, you will design and deliver professional, easy-to-follow training programs to our Support teams, helping them develop the technical and soft skills required to provide an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and facilitate a range of learning programs to be delivered in person and virtually, leveraging digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning experiences.
  • Work closely with team managers and quality teams to identify skills and knowledge gaps, and develop targeted training solutions.
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice, and methods to create engaging and effective training programs.
  • Conduct capability assessments across the organization to identify areas for improvement.
  • Deliver one-on-one training for professional development, applying adult learning theories to ensure employees get the best out of their development.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the training strategy across the organization, championing a learning culture that drives business success.

Requirements

  • Experience using applications for facilitating and reporting on training, with a strong understanding of instructional design principles.
  • Experience in K Series, with a proven ability to use technology to create learning resources across a range of media and for a variety of audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work on projects across departments and time zones, with a high level of autonomy to drive projects with limited guidance.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
