Job Overview

We're seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our efforts in safeguarding vulnerable customers at E.ON Next.

This role is pivotal in driving social value and ensuring fairness in our operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
  • Spearhead initiatives to protect and uplift vulnerable customers, balancing commercial sustainability with empathetic approaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in customer journeys and risk mitigation strategies.
Empathetic Debt Management
  • Compassionate yet Commercial Approach
  • Develop tailored debt recovery strategies that prioritize vulnerable customers' needs while achieving commercially sustainable outcomes.
Inspirational Leadership
  • Fostering a Supportive Team Culture
  • Guide the Affordability & Vulnerability team with purpose, aligning plans with strategic objectives.
Maintaining Partnerships and Policy Advocacy
  • Collaborative Partnerships
  • Promote meaningful collaborations with charities and organizations to enhance services for vulnerable customers.
  • Pioneering Change
  • Advocate for policy improvements to better serve vulnerable customers and drive innovation within the organization.

Our ideal candidate will possess significant experience in vulnerability or debt-focused areas, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of regulatory obligations.

The successful candidate will be located in Nottingham, with occasional travel to other sites as required. Our company offers a competitive salary of £70,000 - £80,000 per annum, flexible hybrid working arrangements, and an excellent benefits package, including 26 days' holiday plus bank holidays, a generous pension scheme, and exciting opportunities for professional growth and development.
