About the Opportunity

We're seeking an accomplished Hardware Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team in Bristol. As a member of our Hardware Engineering Team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of artificial intelligence compute by designing and developing cutting-edge hardware systems that empower AI research and innovation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing circuit solutions and generating schematics
  • Collaborating with our Silicon, Architecture, and Software Teams to deliver high-performance hardware
  • Defining test and validation plans, running campaigns, and interpreting results

You'll also contribute to the development of production systems and test boards for our family of processors, focusing on:

  • Circuit design, requirements analysis, functional definition, and component selection
  • PCB layout constraint definition and support
  • Design and running of tests to validate circuit performance and margin
  • Debugging and optimisation of microcontroller hardware control code

With a strong background in digital circuit development and validation, you'll leverage your expertise in interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, DDR, FLASH, USB, I2C, SPI, JTAG, etc., to drive innovation and excellence in our hardware systems.

Enjoy a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including flexible working, annual leave, private medical insurance, health cash plan, dental plan, pension, life assurance, income protection, generous parental leave policy, and employee assistance programme.
