Job Title: Apprenticeships Tutor

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Apprenticeships Tutor to join our team at LMP Group. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training and development programs to learners across the UK.

About the Role:

As an Apprenticeships Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering AEB remote courses, including Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health, IAG, behaviours that challenge, safeguarding, digital skills, customer service, and autism. You will also need to deliver training, coaching, and assessment that effectively assists learners to develop vocational skills and prepare them for and in work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment to learners, ensuring they meet the criteria for achievement of the chosen qualification.
  • Maintain learner records accurately and ensure all evidence for all visits is readily available and accessible for audit and quality purposes.
  • Implement improvements identified as a result of performance reviews and internal quality assurance.
  • Develop and maintain own professional and occupational knowledge, skills, and experience, including formal training, CPD, and networking with fellow professionals.
  • Ensure Math's and English are embedded into delivery as required or delivered standalone as needed.
  • Monitor learner's progression and ensure all forms of teaching, learning, and assessment for each element of the qualification is completed.
  • Take part in standardisation and team meetings and undertake continuing professional development as required.
  • Promote and deliver training in accordance with qualification and centre guidelines, including the promotion of equality and diversity and prevent in lessons.
  • Adhere to all statutory responsibilities and ensure Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Prevent policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and compliance and complete all contractual paperwork and documentation as required.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 functional skills, Math's, English ICT
  • Level 3 award assessing, vocationally related achievement or equivalent
  • Qualified in level 4 award in the quality assurance of assessment process and practice or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Proven experience of online/classroom-based learning, teaching, and assessment
  • Experience of internal quality assurance and knowledge of awarding body requirements
