About the Role:
We require a specialist teacher to lead and teach within our MLD/SLD provision and work with learners with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated behavioural needs.
The post holder will be responsible for providing effective teaching, assessment, and tutoring, as well as taking a lead in the learners' pastoral care.
About You:
You will have an excellent understanding of the learning needs of MLD/SLD learners and a specialist qualification in teaching this cohort.
You will be able to baseline assess students and document the learner journey, setting effective SMART targets and identifying distance travelled.
You will be an enthusiastic specialist teacher who can differentiate effectively and has effective classroom management.
