SEND Teaching Assistant Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive school in Richmond upon Thames. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students with special educational needs, offering tailored support in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with SEND
Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom management
Collaborating with teachers and the SENCO to implement individualised learning plans
Encouraging students' social and emotional development in a safe environment
Supporting students in developing independence and academic confidence

Requirements:
A 1st Class or 2:1 degree from a top UK university
Passion for working with children, especially those with SEND
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
Prior experience working with SEND students is desirable but not essential

What We Offer:
Competitive weekly pay of £500 - £600, inclusive of holiday pay
Full-time, long-term stability until July 2025
