As a seasoned Cloud Technology Consultant and Engineering Team Leader at Qodea, you'll be at the forefront of driving innovation in cloud technology. You'll collaborate with market-leading GCP Engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge cloud solutions that yield tangible benefits for diverse customer organisations.

You'll lead a team of talented developers, providing guidance and mentoring as they work with our customers, helping them achieve their professional development goals. The team is diverse and creative, comprising individuals with various technical backgrounds and differing levels of experience.

  • Designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using Google Cloud services.
  • Building trust and positive relationships with stakeholders at customer organisations.
  • Leading a small team of Software Engineers, including mentoring, one-to-ones, and professional development plans.
  • Collaborating closely with the Presales and Project Delivery Teams to ensure we exceed customers' requirements and expectations.
Requirements:
  • A strong background as a Software Engineer in enterprise environments using Python, Java, Javascript, Typescript, C#, Node.JS or other languages.
  • An understanding of cloud-native applications and the ability to apply this knowledge to design robust and scalable solutions (ideally on GCP but also considering Azure or AWS).
  • Experience in technical projects; Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Experience in mentoring and supporting peers and engineering teams, fostering best practices.
  • The ability to grasp non-functional project requirements, with a drive to delivering robust, secure, scalable, and high-performing software.
  • Liaising with clients and leading client-facing delivery projects.

This role offers flexible working arrangements, with the option to work remotely or from any of our office locations. While there's no mandatory office presence, occasional travel to offices or customer sites may be required for specific meetings or events.
