About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our Bicester team and drive sales and profits in our store. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including staff management, customer service, and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate a team of staff and volunteers to achieve sales and customer service targets
  • Develop and implement effective sales and customer service strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including stock management and inventory control
  • Ensure compliance with Age UK policies and procedures, including health and safety and data protection
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales growth and customer service excellence
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • IT literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to use retail management systems and software
