We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary SEND Teacher to deliver personalised education to pupils with complex needs.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and nurturing environment, closely with therapy professionals, parents, and carers, to achieve the best outcomes for pupils with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with complex SEN.
  • Implement trauma-informed behaviour management strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with therapy professionals and other staff to support pupil development.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with primary-aged children with SEN, particularly autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to teaching.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
