Warehouse Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to join our team at Irlam Associates. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Manage outgoing and incoming customer calls and emails, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Administer systems for overtime, deductions, anomalies, staff inductions, holidays, and staff records, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Deal with and manage petty cash, stationary ordering, year-end stock takes, and paper orders, as well as filing, archiving, and banking administration.
  • Team Support: Provide administrative support to the warehouse operations team, including updating weekly and monthly spreadsheets, and dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
  • Reception Duties: Manage the reception area, signing in visitors, checking identity, and setting up meeting rooms, catering, and drinks.
Key Skills:
  • Customer Service: Experience working in a customer service-led and administrative role, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to organize, administer, plan, and prioritize effectively, with a flexible approach to work.
