Job Summary:

Lidl is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring our stores receive the right stock at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process inventory shipments, accurately checking stock levels and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Pack and prepare products for delivery to our stores, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to efficiently move stock around the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and targets, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain up-to-date with the latest industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, with a willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces.
