About the Job

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Investigator of Professional Practice to join our Registration Investigation Team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of investigators in conducting complex and sensitive investigations into health and character concerns regarding applications to join or remain on the register.

As a key member of our team, you will provide leadership and guidance to your team, ensuring that all investigations are conducted in accordance with NMC legislation and policy. You will also work closely with our professional regulation directorate to develop and implement strategies to improve our regulatory functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of investigators in conducting thorough and proportionate investigations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with NMC regulations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to share best practices and drive continuous improvement

Salary Range: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
