About Us

Ground Control is a leading provider of arboriculture services, committed to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. We are seeking an experienced Arb Surveyor/Project Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing de-veg works across SSE lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in liaison with the Contract Delivery Manager to ensure work is completed within a set geographical area.
  • Utilize a team of operational staff to complete work to the highest possible standards in terms of safety, environment, quality, customer service, and profitability.
  • Ensure work is completed efficiently, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Full, valid UK driving license.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and balance demands from numerous sources.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Awareness and respect for Health & Safety precautions.
  • Good coordination of both your own and a team's workload.
  • Exemplary customer service skills.
  • A results-driven mentality, with a focus on seeing a job through.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Arb experience.
  • NPTC Utility Arboriculture Units 1, 2.1, 5.1, and 5.2.
  • LANTRA Basic or Professional Tree Inspectors Qualification.
