About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Arb Surveyor / Project Manager to join our team at Ground Control. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing de-veg works across SSE lines in the Andover and Salisbury areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in liaison with the Contract Delivery Manager to ensure work is completed within a set geographical area.
  • Utilize a team of operational staff to complete de-veg works to the highest possible standards.
  • Ensure work is completed safely, with minimal environmental impact, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results.
Requirements
  • Full, valid UK driving license.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Awareness and respect for Health & Safety precautions.
  • Good coordination of both your own and a team's workload.
  • Exemplary customer service skills.
  • Results-driven mentality with a focus on seeing a job through.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Arb experience.
  • NPTC Utility Arboriculture Units 1, 2.1, 5.1, and 5.2.
  • LANTRA Basic or Professional Tree Inspectors Qualification.
