We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Anaesthetic Fellow with a strong interest in Leadership and Management to join our team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their leadership and management skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. The role will involve participation in an on-call rota, clinical duties, and leadership and management activities tailored to the individual's interests and needs.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in an on-call rota, including obstetrics, ICU, and theatre
- Develop leadership and management skills through participation in meetings and projects
- Contribute to the operational and strategic management of the Anaesthetic Department and the One NHS Finance programme
- Develop and implement projects within their sphere of interest
We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual with the following skills and experience:
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice
- Previous employment in an anaesthetic capacity
- Primary Medical Degree (MBChB, MBBS or equivalent)
- Suitable experience for on-call anaesthetic work, including intensive care, obstetrics, and emergency theatre
- Evidence of teaching at an undergraduate level
- Interest in leadership and management, with basic understanding of management theory and information technology skills
