Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Distribution Operations Manager to join our team at Bis Henderson Recruitment. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our distribution network, ensuring that we provide a first-class service to our clients while maintaining a high level of efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the transportation and warehousing operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to our clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure that our logistics operations are aligned with our business goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize our logistics operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a customer-centric logistics operation.
  • Transport Manager CPC qualification is essential.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions to drive business growth and improvement.
