Human Factors Specialist

As a Human Factors Specialist, you will support the Lead HFI Specialist in integrating Human Factors into the TRINITY design process. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that user needs are met and design solutions are effective and efficient.
You will engage with end-user groups and stakeholders through workshops, trials, and User-Centred Design activities to gather insights and feedback. Your analytical skills will be essential in conducting tasks such as allocation of function, task analysis, and usability assessments to identify areas for improvement.
You will also evaluate prototypes and mock-ups of TRINITY hardware and software solutions to ensure they meet user needs and are safe and effective. Your contributions will be critical in producing detailed reports that inform design decisions and drive business outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:To be successful in this role, you will require a degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, or a related field. Registered membership of the Chartered Institute of Human Factors (or equivalent eligibility) is also essential. You will have at least five years of Human Factors experience in the defence or safety-critical sectors, with a proven ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams on complex system integration projects.
