Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Human Factors Specialist to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering User-Centred Design activities for the TRINITY programme.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Lead HFI Specialist in conducting human factors activities and integrating HF into the TRINITY design
  • Collaborating with end-user groups and HF stakeholders in workshops, trials, and User-Centred Design activities
  • Conducting analyses such as allocation of function, task analysis, and usability assessment
  • Evaluating prototypes/mock-ups of TRINITY hardware and software solutions
  • Preparing reports and contributing to customer deliverables

Key Requirements:

  • A recognised degree or equivalent qualification in Human Factors, Ergonomics, or Psychology
  • Registered membership of the Chartered Institute of Human Factors (or eligibility for CIEHF Chartership via an equivalent body)
  • At least five years' experience of applying Human Factors methods in defence or safety-critical industry
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team on complex system integration and development projects

Additional Information:

This role requires the ability to work typically three days per week at our BAES Christchurch office.
