Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Academic Support Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at EdEx Education Recruitment Careers. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic success of our students and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic support to students in a classroom setting, working closely with teachers to deliver lesson plans and activities.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of teaching materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, and other educational resources.
  • Support the development of students' skills and knowledge in a specific subject area, such as literacy, numeracy, or special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to identify and address students' individual needs and learning gaps.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive learning environment, promoting positive relationships and behavior among students.

Requirements:

  • Hold a 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable University, preferably from a Russell Group institution.
  • Have a strong passion for academics and a commitment to supporting the educational success of students.
  • Be willing to go above and beyond to support students' learning and well-being.
  • Be a team player, able to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to achieve common goals.
