Speech Language Therapist Job Description:

Central London Community Health Trust is seeking a skilled Speech Language Therapist to join our education service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people with communication disorders in mainstream schools.

About the Role:

  • Work as part of a dedicated team providing specialist services to children attending mainstream schools with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN).
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support children's speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and school staff to ensure effective communication and promote positive outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists and current membership of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience in supporting children and families in line with the Children and Families Act 2014, including contribution to statutory assessments and delivery of SLT provision as specified in Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Salary:

The annual salary for this role is £45,000 - £65,000, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will have access to a range of benefits, including a comprehensive induction programme, ongoing training and development opportunities, and flexible working options.
