We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to work on high-profile projects worldwide across various sectors. Travel may be required.

About the Role
  1. Fulfill the Practice's overall objective by delivering first-class architecture and engineering on time and on budget.
  2. Undertake mechanical engineering design activities and have thorough knowledge of company procedures and standards.
Key Requirements
  • Able to demonstrate ability to undertake responsibilities with 2-4 years of previous mechanical engineering design experience.
  • Legally able to work in the country and have foundational technical understanding of building mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Developing understanding of other engineering disciplines, appreciation of building design and architecture.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within the integrated design process environment.
  • Continuing professional development (CPD) in accordance with the requirements of the relevant professional Institution.
  • Ability to use engineering software including Autodesk Revit and Microsoft Office.
  • Willing to learn new software tools and working knowledge of core technical guidance published by ASHRAE and CIBSE.
  • Able to negotiate and communicate well in English and formulate appropriate design decisions.
  • Flexibility and open attitude towards new ways of working, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to build good relationships at all levels.
Desirable Qualifications
  • International project experience and awareness of UK and International design standards.
  • Ability to use additional software applications and additional languages.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
