Mechanical Design Engineer: HVAC Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs, plans, specifications, and estimates for Data Centre/Mission Critical facilities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams throughout the entire span of a project. You will work closely with our Sales, Technical, and Project Management teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out engineering concept design through to detailed design of complete HVAC solutions for Data Centres.
  • Produce detailed design and installation design of HVAC systems in conjunction with our Sales, Technical, and Project Management teams.
  • Ensure all design projects and reports within the group are technically compliant, to a consistent quality and standard.
  • Implement and manage QA systems and procedures on all projects.
  • Ensure Quality Management System ISO 9001 and 14001 are adhered to.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years in mechanical system design of commercial or institutional buildings.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, previous team coordination, and project management experience.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is £85,000 - £105,000 depending on experience.
