Company Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on a contractual basis for an ongoing refinery project with a leading oil and gas major.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a consulting firm, utilizing your business analysis skills to drive project success.

Salary: Approximately £600 per day

Job Description:

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in gathering and documenting requirements from business stakeholders, including subject matter experts in refinery scheduling.

You will be responsible for defining and refining project objectives, conducting detailed business analysis, and ensuring the delivery team has a clear understanding of requirements.

Your role will involve tracking project progress, identifying risks and issues, and working closely with project stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in refinery projects
  • Consulting experience is highly preferred
  • A strong background in business analysis (IIBA CBAP or equivalent preferred)
  • Skills in stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and process improvement
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • An understanding of project management frameworks (Prince 2/PMP knowledge is a plus)
