T&L Sugars Limited (UK) is seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at the Thames Refinery. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our operations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient maintenance services to all plant and equipment used within our refinery and packaging areas. This includes supervising maintenance activities, administering the SAP maintenance system, and undertaking detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on component failures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise maintenance activities to optimize available resources and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Administer and review the SAP maintenance system for budgeting, historical trend analysis, and reliability assessment.
  • Undertake detailed RCA on component failures to identify and implement modifications and improvements.
  • Supervise cleaning resources to maintain plant hygiene and environmental standards.
  • Participate in capital projects from planning to commissioning, including pre-delivery inspections and installation of new equipment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working in an automated continuous process environment with a mechanical bias.
  • An HNC/NVQ 4 in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualifications.
  • Knowledge of Predictive/Preventative maintenance techniques and regimes.
  • Familiarity with PLC and HT control systems.
