About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Tractor Driver and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Shorts Group Ltd. As a key member of our farming operations, you will be responsible for driving and maintaining a range of agricultural tractors and equipment.

Job Summary:
  • Drive and operate a range of agricultural tractors and equipment, including tele-handlers and spreaders.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Assist with hay and haylage making, including cutting, tedding, baling, wrapping, and transporting/stacking bales.
  • Participate in grassland maintenance activities, including mowing, slashing, and fertilizing.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on machinery as required.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in driving and maintaining agricultural equipment.
  • Possession of a valid tractor driving license.
  • Experience using JD Greenstar for mapping, Auto track, and variable rate applications.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
