Traffic Signal Control Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Traffic Signal Control Specialist to join our team in Windsor. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for maintaining, modifying, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing city-wide signalized traffic control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, modify, install, troubleshoot, and repair city-wide signalized traffic control systems.
- Service and maintenance of electrical components.
- Install CCTV cameras, video detection cameras, and other traffic devices.
- Assist with Traffic/streetlight Infrastructure locator and live electrical streetlight feeds.
- Work with live electrical circuits safely and in compliance with provincial legislation and codes.
- Install intersection hardware and operate various sized trucks and equipment.
- Coordinate equipment requirements with Windsor Police, Fire Department, and Utilities Commission.
Requirements:
- Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma plus one year of post-secondary training.
- Over five years of work experience in a computerized traffic signal control or similar environment.
- Current Certificate of Qualification as an Electrician 442A or 309A.
- Current, valid and lawful Class 'D' Driver's License with a 'Z' endorsement or a Class G Driver's Licence and the ability to attain a Class 'D' Driver's License with 'Z' endorsement within the probationary/confirmation period.
- Proven oral and written communication skills.
