Job Title: Drainage and Flood Risk Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Drainage and Flood Risk Engineer to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our Civils & Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in delivering flood risk and drainage projects from concept to construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct flood risk assessments and develop flood alleviation schemes
  • Design and implement surface water management systems, including SUDS, swales, and soakaways
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects efficiently and effectively
  • Develop Natural Flood Management solutions and work with clients to implement them
  • Collaborate with hydraulic modellers, engineers, and environmental consultants to deliver projects
Requirements:
  • Experience in flood risk and drainage engineering, with a strong understanding of the NPPF
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, Micro drainage, and InfoDrainage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to good health and safety practices and a proven ability to deliver work on time
  • Desire to build upon existing experience and continue professional development
