The successful candidate will assist the Cook in Charge in performing various kitchen duties, including food preparation, cooking, and serving. This role requires adherence to nutritional standards as outlined by Powys Catering Services. The candidate will also be responsible for promoting the Catering Service and its objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food and drinks to the required standard.
- Comply with nutritional standards as per the Healthy Schools in Wales measure 2013.
- Support the Catering Service and its aims and objectives.
- Record data accurately, both manually and electronically.
- Utilize IT skills to perform tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate job tasks to staff.
- Meet deadlines and deliver the required service during peak periods.
