Working Foreman Job Description

Quick Staff UK Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Working Foreman to join our client's team in the Construction & Civils industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising daily operations on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure work is carried out according to project specifications and timelines.
  • Manage and supervise a team of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Train new employees on procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
  • Address any issues or conflicts that arise within the team promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on-site.
Key Requirements:
  • Be an experienced groundworks Working Foreman.
  • Must have a full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to plan and manage site personnel.
  • Ensure labour, plant, and materials are successfully delivered to projects on time.
  • Meeting clients and subcontractors onsite to launch projects.
  • Submit daily reports as required by Management
  • HSE regulations - COSH/RAMS/PUWER/LOLER inspection sheets, ensure these are checked/completed daily.
  • Be happy to get stuck in and get your hands dirty
Benefits:

  • Night out allowance £25 per night

On an average week, you will be expected to stay away from Monday to Thursday, however, the occasional weekend work may become available. Salary: £20.00 per hour (paid direct by our client) or £25.00 p/hr on a self-employed basis
