Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rail Overhead Wiring Traction Supervisor to join our growing national traction team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead traction power equipment, ensuring the safe and effective operation of the traction power system.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise the on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead traction power equipment.
  • Develop effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Deliver quality projects on time, on budget, and to client quality expectations.
  • Maintain project and site-specific documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant OH&S, rail safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and foster a culture of OH&S and rail safety on the worksite.
  • Provide reporting in line with RSA and client reporting requirements.

About You

  • Sound knowledge of overhead traction power equipment and maintenance standards.
  • Sound level of skill in the installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead rail traction power systems.
  • Sound knowledge of high voltage Safeworking practices and procedures.
  • Sound knowledge of the WH&S Act and relevant rail safety policies and procedures.
  • Sound interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Willingness to commit to and work within RSA values and behaviours.
