Rail Overhead Wiring Traction Supervisor Opportunity

Rhomberg Sersa Australia, a leading provider of complex rail maintenance and construction solutions, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our national traction team as a Rail Overhead Wiring Traction Supervisor.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the on-site supervision of Overhead Wiring Traction teams, external plant, and sub-contractors. You will develop effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, on budget, and to client quality expectations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead traction power equipment and report on performance and condition of the traction power system.
  • Develop and foster a culture of OH&S and rail safety on the worksite.
  • Provide reporting in line with RSA and client reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant OH&S, rail safety, and environmental regulations.

About You

  • Sound knowledge of all types of overhead traction power equipment and their relevant maintenance and installation standards.
  • Sound level of skill in the installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead rail traction power systems.
  • Sound knowledge of high voltage Safeworking practices and procedures.
  • Sound knowledge of the WH&S Act and relevant rail safety policies and procedures.
  • Sound interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Experience in leading a team.
