About this Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Psychologist to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our school in Hackney. This is a unique opportunity for you to develop confident and happy pupils with SEN/additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEN needs in KS1 and KS2, tailoring your approach based on each child's requirements.
- Work closely with teachers to provide academic and emotional support for children.
- Gain hands-on experience as an Assistant Psychologist prior to further studies.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Hold a 1st Class or 2:1 graduate degree.
- Have childcare experience with SEN students, including Autism, Speech and Language, Behaviour, and Physical Disabilities.
- Be patient, resilient, and calm in challenging situations.
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
