About the Job

Niche Education LTD is currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to join our team at a school in Hartlepool.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a key support role within the school community, ensuring that classes run smoothly in the absence of teaching staff.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to manage challenging situations, and a passion for supporting students' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teaching staff in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supervise classes of students across KS3 & KS4
  • Deliver pre-prepared exercises and activities to students
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of education programmes

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Minimum 1 year's experience working with children or young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of curriculum requirements and educational policies

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
