Job Description

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Equipment Technician to join our client based in Hull. As a Mechanical Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical faults in plant and mechanical handling equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a stable work history demonstrating thorough understanding and experience of maintaining plant and mechanical handling equipment. Recently qualified candidates who are ready for a permanent career may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical faults in plant and mechanical handling equipment
  • Attend customers' sites to diagnose and repair faults, arranging further action if necessary
  • Manage own diary and report to the Field Service Manager

This is a regular days position with up to £35,000 p/a salary and 33 days holiday. The role requires clear and professional communication with customers, as well as liaison with internal and external colleagues to ensure smooth resolution of issues.
