Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Supportive Education Professional to join our team at Norwich Road Academy, working in Key Stage 2 with pupils aged 7-11. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality learning experiences and supporting the development of our students.

Role Purpose:

This role requires the successful candidate to support individuals or groups of pupils, including those with special educational needs, in their care and learning programmes. The ideal candidate will be able to promote independent learning skills and behaviours, engage with children, and inspire them to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Supporting pupils in their learning programmes
  • Providing individualised support to pupils with special educational needs
  • Engaging with children and promoting independent learning skills and behaviours
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to achieve student outcomes


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Level 2 qualification in both English and Maths (grade A*-C)
  • A TA qualification or equivalent (desired)
  • Experience working in an education setting, classroom management, and working with children of relevant age
  • A calm and clear communicator
  • A good knowledge of safeguarding regulations
  • A positive role model who can build positive relationships with children
  • A dedicated individual who is hardworking and aspirational for our young people

Salary:

The salary for this position is £16,756 - £17,019 per annum (pro-rated), which is equivalent to a full-time annual salary of £24,027 - £24,404. This is a permanent part-time position working 30 hours per week.
