Complex Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in Chelmsford. As a Sonderwell Complex Care Assistant, you will work closely with clients and their families to deliver personalized care and support. This challenging yet rewarding role requires excellent communication skills, independence, and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality care.
About the Role
This position involves working as part of a supportive team to provide complex care services to clients in their homes or in residential settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering daily living tasks, assisting with personal care, and supporting clients with their mobility and physical needs. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through our comprehensive training programs and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care and support to clients with complex needs
- Assist with daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with their mobility and physical needs, such as transfers and exercises
- Develop strong relationships with clients and their families, promoting trust and understanding
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
- A caring personality and relevant experience in care work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Current UK professional registration (e.g., NVQ or equivalent)
