Job Description

Eames Consulting has partnered with a leading syndicate in the search for a Catastrophe Manager to work across multiple Nat Cat lines of business.

In this role, you will manage a team of 2-3 analysts and become a visible leader in the Catastrophe Analytics function. You will be responsible for daily operations, overseeing modelled results, and working closely with senior underwriters and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations, including team management and oversight of outsourcing partners.
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Work closely with senior underwriters and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Lead ad-hoc projects to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in catastrophe modelling or exposure management.
  • Strong technical skills in RMS, SQL, PowerBI, and R.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated salary for this role is £90,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development.
