Product Controller Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Controller to join our team at Trace – Expert Accountancy Recruitment. As a Product Controller, you will play a crucial role in controlling and reporting high-quality and timely financial information to multiple stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Produce daily validation and explanation of trading gross margins.
  • Review and explain any changes in the value of future portfolios.
  • Ensure accurate financial information is produced for each trading book, all trades are valued in line with the Group Accounting Policy and those valuations are in line with market information.
  • Actively participate in projects bringing improvement to the reporting process, including automating the P&L attribution process, analyzing the balance sheet, and identifying and reporting on business drivers.
  • Support commercial activity through taking on a Business Partnering role.
  • Supervise junior staff members to achieve team objectives.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified.
  • Experience within a bank, commodity environment, or accounting firm is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and stakeholders.
  • Be proactive and possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £65,000 plus great benefits and bonuses to the successful candidate.
